Prestigious awards such as the Mai An Tiem Award and the CoopStar Awards, organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, are not only a recognition of innovative and creative efforts but also a driving force for cooperatives’ growth. From mega music festivals attracting thousands of young audiences to community arts programs spreading across social media, Hue is revealing a new face as a heritage city.

On the afternoon of June 14th, the Hue’s ‘Heritage Doors’ exhibition opened at Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel, introducing the public to dozens of remarkable artworks inspired by the heritage of the Ancient Capital. The event is part of Hue Festival 2026 and serves as a major artistic highlight attracting art enthusiasts, visitors, and members of the creative community.

40 artists, including lecturers and students from the University of Arts, the University of Sciences (Hue University), along with other painters and architects, participated in a creative program titled Sketching French Architectural Heritage and Cultural-Historical Relics in Hue.

While horses in the paintings of artist Le Ba Dang encompass a full range of emotions, diverse artistic techniques, and span multiple creative periods, the horses depicted by today’s later-generation artists likewise reveal distinctive, strongly individual styles.

On the morning of January 18th, Hue Poetry Association organized a program to review the Association’s activities in 2025 and to launch the poetry collection “Returning to the Land of Huong Ngu”. This was an opportunity to reflect on the previous year's events while also presenting to the public a brand-new poetry anthology, the product of the Association's numerous lively creative and poetic exchange activities.

At the heart of the Imperial City of Hue, the 180-year-old Co Mat Vien (Supreme council for military and major state affairs of the Nguyen Dynasty) is gradually being revitalized in a new guise. Formerly the seat of the highest decisions of the Nguyen Dynasty, the space is being shaped into a center for creativity, education, and heritage experiences for the community.

On the afternoon of December 30, the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Hue City organized a program to honor outstanding artists and writers, and presented awards to exceptional literary and artistic works in 2025.

As 2025 draws to a close, the Song2Light Creative Market officially returned for Season 3 under the title “Huederland”, taking place from December 26-28 at Song Centre Hue. The event brought a range of unique and engaging experiences.

The exhibition titled “HER-ITAGE - Restructuring Traditional Embroidery”, held in late September, left many emotions and beautiful impressions on visitors and Hue residents with bridal gowns that carry cultural stories. At the exhibition, viewers could see firsthand the delicate, creative, and soaring carvings, inlays, and cuts of Vietnamese traditional embroidery art shown on vivid patterns of bridal gowns, including Hue royal motifs.

Being creative and having fun with lines and colors is not only an opportunity for each young person to practice their painting skills, but also a moment of relaxation, peace of mind, and a way of living slowly amid the hustle and bustle of today's life.
