Following the approval of the project to build a community-based beach tourism model in Hai Duong Commune, now in Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District, by Hue City People's Council (formerly) in July 2023, the infrastructure in this place is gradually being completed, serving the sightseeing and swimming needs of locals and visitors, contributing to enhancing the economic value of the beach and lagoon.

Overcoming many stereotypes, Do Ky Minh Hien, a Gen Z young man from Hue, and his like-minded friends have built a community dedicated to snake identification and first aid for snakebites in Vietnam.

The 6th “Hue Jogging - Running for the community” event in 2025 took place on the morning of February 16 at Phu Van Lau (Le Duan Street), attracting nearly 6,000 participants. The event featured two distances, including 5km and 10km.

Every year, after the harvest and when people's lives are stable, the Co Tu ethnic group in A Luoi district joyfully prepares for the Tac Ka Coong festival, a sacred and special traditional festival. This is not only an occasion for the Co Tu people to express gratitude to nature and the gods but also an opportunity for the community to unite and affirm their cultural identity.

On October 28, Mr. Tran Xuan Vinh, Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Association of fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City said that the association held a poetry and music gala titled “Little love for Hue”, which raised 600 million VND to support community projects in hometown area.

On the morning of October 6, Hue University held the final round and awarding ceremony for the “7th Hue University Startup and Innovation Idea Competition 2024” with a desire to bring practical values to the community.

Lasting from June 17 to 23, Hue Community Ao dai Festival attracts a large number of people and tourists to participate.

After a lull due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hue is bustling and lively once again with music and art performances at the Imperial Citadel night street.
