Before winter set in, the city endured consecutive, devastating floods; and, in that cold air, there still lingers the smell of fresh mud and the traces of things not yet put back in order.

Finally, December - the last month of a lunar year, is coming. Tet holiday is so near. Amidst the wet rains, the beautiful colors of the flowers and fruits for worship seem to make the winter days less cold and warmer in the busy last days of the year.

In the old days, when most people suffering the life of deprivation and misery, the winter days attached to the boiling stoves of grandmothers and mothers. Up to now, when the life is better, the young people and many other families are keen on gathering around the hot hotpots, or spicy barbecues in the cold days in Hue.
