That is the vast green casuarina forest that the people of Thai Duong Thuong village (formerly Hai Duong Commune, now part of Thuan An Ward, Hue City) planted decades ago to shield them from the winds, stop the sand, and protect the village. Amidst the vast sky and land, the casuarina trees grow lush and strong, becoming a sturdy shield, guarding the village from waves and winds, and the harshness of the sea.

The Central Coast Nature Museum has launched the art photography contest “Dance of the Lagoon Birds”. Entries will be accepted from August 18th to October 31st, 2025, from all Vietnamese citizens, capturing vivid and unique moments of bird species living or migrating in lagoons and coastal areas.

In response to International Nature Conservation Day (July 28th) and International Tiger Day (July 29th), on July 28th and 29th, the Central Coastal Nature Museum welcomed hundreds of children from Khai Minh Duc Kindergarten, Super Minds Language Center, along with many local residents and tourists to coming to visit, learn, and participate in a themed educational experience.

That is the early morning market of My Loi village, Vinh Loc commune. Before becoming part of today's Vinh Loc commune, My Loi belonged to Vinh My commune - a coastal plain, with the sea on one side and a lagoon on the other. It is indeed known as the only place in Hue where the locals have an accent similar to Quang region.

With coordinated action from authorities, investors, and local communities, Lang Co can fully awaken and emerge as a new engine of growth for the central coastal economic region.

To develop the city towards the sea and foster regional links, Hue City has, in addition to effectively implementing its master plans, prioritized attracting and investing in major projects to complete its infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure, from central urban areas to satellite urban areas.

While not as famous as the Sonneratia forest in Cu Lao Dung (Soc Trang), the Sonneratia forest along the Lam River in Nghe An, or the one in Cu Lao Bac Phuoc (Quang Tri), etc., the Sonneratia trees along the coastal areas of Hue City are nevertheless taking root deeply in the mud and soil of the land every day.

To provide opportunities for students and visitors to explore and study natural resources and biodiversity through valuable collections of animals, plants, geological specimens, minerals, and marine organisms, the Central Coastal Nature Museum is now offering free guided tours and interactive experiences.

In the coastal fishing villages of Phu Vang District, nearshore fishermen have begun their first voyages of the year, setting sail to welcome the sea’s early blessings.

Bridges connecting sea and traversing lagoons are constructed not only to finalize the inter-regional transportation infrastructure system but also to promote the development of coastal cities and satellite towns, fostering socioeconomic growth and improving the quality of life for residents.
