Once lost, Kim Hoang folk paintings are gradually making a comeback thanks to the effort of artisan Nguyen Thi Binh. Recently, those paintings have been exhibited and introduced to the public in Hue.

Nestled within the Hoa My Resistance Zone (Phong Dien Ward), a permanent exhibition space has officially opened its doors to visitors. Images and artifacts on display vividly recreate Hue’s land of rich revolutionary traditions within the space "Hoa My - where history left its golden traces".

On the evening of July 25th, at Thuong Bac Park, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with partner organizations, staged the "Bun bo Hue - The Legend of Van Cu and Huong Ngu Symphony" performance, a signature event of Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program. From eggshell fragments, artisans create lacquer artworks with exquisite beauty. Today, the eggshell inlay technique is also being applied to a range of creative handicraft products, and is reaching closer to young people through hands-on workshops.

Recently, a cultural event that drew significant attention from the young people in Hue was the appearance of 26-year-old singer Nguyen Viet Hoang, better known by his stage name Mono. On the evening of July 8th, at Hue City Center for Culture and Cinema, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Hue City People's Committee, held the closing ceremony of the 2026 Three-Region Folk Instrumental Music and Folk Singing Festival.
