Although he did not study art from a young age, Le Trung Kien quickly became one of the standout names among the young artists of the ancient capital city. Making an impression at the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Art Awards, Le Trung Kien, born in 1993, is one of the “young factors” that the “pillars” of the ancient capital’s artistic community believe will be the “sweet fruit” of Thua Thien Hue’s fine arts.

During 2 days, from September 18 to 19, about 70 travel businesses and travel associations nationwide came to Hue to participate in the Hue famtrip program titled “Ancient Capital – New Experiences season 3” to visit, survey, and assess the tours and tourism destinations in Hue.

On the morning of September 18, the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Arts Awards (2018 – 2023) was held at the Cultural and Cinema Center of Thua Thien Hue Province.

Never before have the people of Hue Ancient Capital talked about so many traffic construction projects and works as they do now. Not only small roads but also many major roads have been opened, in hope that “large roads generate great wealth”, contributing to turning Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-governed city.

During the first two days of the National Day holiday (September 2nd), Hue Ancient Capital welcomed thousands of tourist arrivals. Currently, tourist destinations in Thua Thien Hue, especially the relics belonging to the Complex of Hue Monuments, continue to be bustling with visitors.

Among the many choices of destinations during this year’s National Day holiday, many tourists still prefer hot spots in the Ancient Capital to explore the cultural heritage and other types of tourism, as well as experience the ancient features of Hue with a peaceful pace of life.

The art exhibition featuring unique and eye-catching ceramic pieces opened on the afternoon of August 25th at Lan Vien Co Tich 2, pertaining to the Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery (94 - 96 - 98 Bach Dang, Hue City).

Thuy Xuan hill area, Hue city is famous for ancient pagodas such as Tu Hieu, Dong Thuyen, Bao Lam, Chau Lam, Dieu Nghiem, etc. Being lost in the clouds and wind with many rows of pine trees rustling on these hillsides in the early morning or at dusk, and listening to the sound of temple bells ringing in the wind and the steady sound of wooden bell echoing from the pagodas make my heart strangely calm and peaceful.

On the morning of July 28, the project “Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam”, funded by the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) - Norway (through the WWF - Vietnam), received by Hue City People's Committee, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Tourism, organized the inauguration of 5 waiting lounges and free water stations at tourist destinations, including: Thien Mu Pagoda, Bao Vinh Ancient Town, Ban Nguyet Bridge - Me Wharf, Vong Canh Hill, and Sinh Village wrestling area (Hue City).

With advantages in scenery, cultural heritage, and the ancient, tranquil beauty of temples, palaces, relics, and architecture, Hue is becoming a destination of choice for filmmakers. This also presents an opportunity for cinema to expand Hue's tourism reach.
