Hue tourism enjoys positive results in the first 6 months of the year, including increased visitor numbers, a substantial rise in revenue, and potentials of expanding into international tourist markets. Many hotels and resorts in the Ancient Capital have also received high rankings in evaluations conducted by international tourism organizations.

The celebration of 30th anniversary (1993-2023) of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary (2003 - 2023) of Hue Royal Court Music being honored by the UNESCO as world heritages took place during June 16-18. According to statistics from Tiktok, as of April 23rd, 2023, hashtag #hue reached 1.2 billion views, hashtag #hellohue reached 24.8 million views, hashtag #huecity reached 33.8 million views, etc. Also, an increasing number of videos about tourist attractions and cuisines of Hue City created by domestic and foreign tourists as well as Tiktokers from Hue are appearing on this platform.
