“Noi vong tay lon” (The Great Circle of Vietnam), one of the signature songs in the vast musical legacy of the late musician Trinh Cong Son, has been engraved on a stone stele and installed at the park named after him on Trinh Cong Son Street, along the romantic Perfume River. ​

On the afternoon of September 10, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee, organized the opening ceremony of the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival in 2025. This biennial international event aims to build a brand name for Vietnamese photography, while contributing to promoting the image of the country, people, and culture of Vietnam to international friends.

On the evening of August 25th, at Nghinh Lương Dinh (Nghinh Luong Pavilion - Phu Xuan Ward), under the direction of the Central Youth Union, the Youth Union of Hue City, in collaboration with VMAS, organized the program “Chuyen xe Tu hao Việt Nam” (Proud Vietnam Journey) - with Hue as one of its stops.

On June 29, a cultural exchange activity between Hue City and the cultural tourism delegation of Nanning (Nam Ninh) City (China) took place at Duyen Thi Duong Theater. This event marked the beginning of China - ASEAN cultural exchange program 2025 in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of April 8, Hue City People’s Committee held a sponsorship contract signing ceremony for the National Tourism Year 2025 and Hue Festival 2025 with Vietnam Airlines Corporation – Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Company.

The culinary festival titled “Vietnamese Noodle Heritage - Van Cu Noodle Village” opened on the afternoon of February 18 at Van Cu Hamlet, Nam Thanh Village. This is one of the main activities to respond to the celebration of receiving the national intangible cultural heritage recognition for the “Traditional Craft - Van Cu Noodle-Making Craft”, which is scheduled to be held on February 19.

TasteAtlas, a food magazine, has just set the list of 50 most worth-experienced culinary cities all over the world in 2024. Notably, 2 places in Vietnam including Hue and Hanoi were named in this list.

Thua Thien Hue, along with Da Nang and Quang Nam, are strengthening cooperation to boost tourism between Vietnam and Australia, particularly by connecting the Australian tourist market with Central Vietnam. By enhancing promotion and advertising of the “Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage” tourism brand in Australia, the goal is to attract visitors from this significant potential market to Central Vietnam in general, and to Hue in particular.

Vietnam has continued to be named as “Asia’s Leading Destination”, “Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination in 2024”, and “Asia’s Leading Natural Destination in 2024”, together with many other prestigious awards.
