On December 4th, the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Hanoi, organized the 2025 Dialogue Program under the theme: “Cooperation in Journalism - Communication Training in the Post-Digital Context.”

On December 4th, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh held a meeting with Mr. Eric Soulier, the newly appointed Cultural Counsellor of French Embassy and Director of French Institute in Vietnam (Institut français du Vietnam - IFV).

The 8th ASEAN Heritage Parks Conference (AHP8) was hosted by Vietnam in Ha Long (Quang Ninh) from December 2 to 5, organized through the Department of Nature Conservation and Biodiversity, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. During a career orientation session at Byron Nelson High School in Texas, USA, my daughter and I had the opportunity to experience an exceptionally well-organized Culinary Arts vocational training model. In the U.S. education system, students are guided toward basic career paths as soon as they enter middle school, preparing them for vocational training in high school if they choose not to pursue a university pathway.

On December 2 and 3, a working delegation from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, visited and presented financial support to South Central provinces to overcome damage after typhoons and floods.

On the morning of December 3, Vietnam Social Security, in collaboration with sponsors, the City’s Social Security Office, and local Party committees and authorities, organized the distribution of health insurance cards to residents in difficult circumstances in Nam Dong Commune.

On December 2nd, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a meeting with representatives of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company (VSIP) to hear a report on several proposed investment projects in the city.

Under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Hue City People’s Committee, and Hue City Department of Tourism, the organizing unit - BamBoo Artists Agency - has introduced the large-scale Hue Mega Concert event series.

The exhibition “The Journey of Vietnamese Ceramics” has just opened at Kien Trung Palace - Hue Imperial Citadel, and it marks the beginning of a series of remarkable events under the Summer Festival - Hue Festival 2025.

For the first time being organized, the Quintessence of Vietnamese Martial Arts Festival offers the public an artistic space rich in legendary essence, clearly expressing the spirit of martial arts and the cultural identity of the Ancient Capital.

In a space adorned with traditional Tet decorations, over 40 students from various primary students in Hue city area dressing traditional ao dai are immersing themselves into cultural folk games on Tet days.
