On June 1, on the occasion of International Children's Day, the Charity and Social Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, organized the Children’s Day program 2026 for children in difficult circumstances from ethnic minority communities.

On May 31 (the 15th day of the fourth lunar month), the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City solemnly held the Grand Vesak Celebration, Buddhist Calendar 2570 at the Executive Board’s headquarters - Tu Dam Pagoda (Thuan Hoa Ward), in the joyful presence of thousands of monks, nuns, Buddhists, and people from near and far.

On the morning of May 28 (the 12th day of the fourth lunar month of the Year of the Horse), a delegation of leaders from Hue City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Head of the City’s National Assembly Delegation, visited and extended greetings to the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in the city on the occasion of Vesak 2570 celebrations.
