The heart donated from Bach Mai Hospital has begun to beat its first rhythms in the body of a patient, marking a successful journey of life transfer. This is a record-breaking transplant, with the heart implantation taking just over 50 minutes at Hue Central Hospital.

The donated organ from a 65-year-old woman, who was relatively lightweight from Hai Duong; the time of cold ischemia during transport across Vietnam was minimized; and the need to dissect the entire heart and major blood vessels before transplantation...
