This is one of the highlight activities of the Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, aimed at honoring traditional values and spreading the Bun bo Hue brand to a wide audience of residents and visitors.

On the morning of July 24, the Department of Tourism coordinated with Hue Monuments Conservation Center to present gifts to Ms. Ha Phuong and her son in recognition of their 790-km walk from Hanoi to Hue as a gesture of encouragement.

On the evening of July 23, at Thuong Bac Park in Phu Xuan Ward, Hue City, Hue - Culinary Capital 2026 program, themed ‘Bun bo Hue (Hue beef noodle soup) Day’, officially opened. From July 16 to 21, a delegation from Hue City, led by Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, attended the 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC48) in Busan, South Korea. During the visit, the delegation also organized a series of large-scale cultural and tourism promotion events in Seoul and Busan.

On July 17, in Hue City, the Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony for its K31 (2025 - 2028) doctoral course in the Central region. This is the Institute’s first doctoral training course held in the Central region.

During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented numerous awards to outstanding artistic ensembles, individuals, performances, and programs.
