With the brilliance of athlete Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhi, archery made an initial contribution to Thua Thien Hue sports "bumper crop" at the arena of the 9th National Sports Festival 2022.

On the morning of January 1, 2023, the Department of Tourism collaborated with the Central Airport Authority, Phu Bai International Airport and Vietnam Airlines - Hue branch to welcome the first tourists coming to Thua Thien Hue by air in 2023.

In order to research, evaluate the current situation and propose solutions to develop tourism products associated with craft villages, on the afternoon of December 27, the Provincial Institute for Research and Development held a workshop on “Solutions to develop tourism associated with craft villages and replicate the model to be applied to Thua Thien Hue”.

On the afternoon of December 27, at the Provincial People’s Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a working meeting with the senior delegation of Salavan lead by the Secretary, Governor of Salavan Province, Lao PDR, Phoxay XAYYASON during their working trip to Thua Thien Hue.

The e-ticket system to visit the Complex of Hue Monuments, which was opened on December 20, has now been integrated into the Hue-S platform, at the function named "For Thua Thien Hue tourism".
