On the afternoon of January 18, at the space of 23-25 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward, 40 children and their parents had a chance to join in an activity of experiencing cooking tet cakes to celebrate Tet holiday. This program was held by the Hue Book and Culture Club.

On the morning of January 12th, Hue City Youth and Children Activity Center hosted the Vietnamese and Korean Traditional Tet Experience event under the theme “Spring of Connection - Peaceful Tet.”

Travel companies have begun offering At Ty Tet holiday tours with attractive promotional programs. This year, travel trends in Tet are expected to see significant changes.

That was the theme of a talk hosted by Dr. Mai Hang, a natural nutritionist, at Silent Space (32 Tay Son, Hue City) on November 23rd. The event was part of the “Lunch and Learn - Learn, Have lunch, and Connect together” program.

Though without the vibrant flowers adorning the streets and alleys, nor the sweet confections filling every kitchen, the excitement and national pride on Independence Day remain undiminished in the hearts of every Vietnamese citizen. This sacred and eternal spirit continues to shine through the colours of the flag and the clothes worn in the rhythm of today's life.

On the morning of February 22nd, at the tomb of Emperor Gia Long in Huong Tho commune, Hue city, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized a ceremony to launch the “Tet trong cay” (“Tree Planting Festival”) in the Year of Dragon 2024.

Besides the lively and beautifully decorated spring outing places, in recent years, one of the destinations on the days of Tet that many people have chosen to visit is the museum. Therefore, museums also open during Tet to serve the public’s demand of enjoying arts.

A large number of visitors and people from everywhere attended Huyen Tran Temple Festival, which opened on the morning of the 9th day of Tet (February 18) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center, on the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain (An Tay Ward, Hue City).

Under the ancient Nguyen Dynasty, the ceremony of lowering Neu tree was performed to mark the end of the Tet holiday and the normal life of work resumed.

As the Tet holiday approaches, many Vietnamese people living far from their homeland still feel the eager atmosphere. Some feel excited when returning to their homeland, while many families enjoy celebrating Vietnamese Tet in foreign lands.
