After nearly 80 years of existing as little more than a foundation, Dai Cung Mon - the main gate of the Forbidden Purple City – will be reconstructed. The project will help complete the central axis of Hue Imperial Citadel and open up a new heritage experience space for visitors.

Hue City People’s Committee has officially announced the opening of an inland waterway route on the Ngu Ha river, spanning 3,5 km, set to begin operations on April 10th, 2026. This marks the initial step in a project to introduce electric tourist boats, expected to be launched around April 30th, opening up new prospects for river-based tourism and enabling the exploration of heritage spaces by water.

On the afternoon of March 29, at Hue Book and Culture Space (23 - 25 Le Loi Street), the Hair Donation Day, with the message “Giving hair - Giving love”, attracted a large number of students and residents. In addition to the thousands of books displayed across numerous booths, those attending the book fair themed “Hue of Love” will experience a variety of other exciting activities and events that span over a week.

During his lifetime, Ung Binh Thuc Gia Thi (1877 - 1961) was a renowned poet from Hue, leaving behind a legacy of nearly 2,000 poems in both Vietnamese and Chinese characters. He was also celebrated as a highly skilled composer of traditional Hue Tuong.

Coming to Thoi Quan space, you can encounter old features, experience and learn about Hue culinary culture from royal to folk cuisine.

From his passionate love for literature and art, Bao Cuong created an art space and set up a library to contribute to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the locals.
