On the evening of September 8th, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Vietnam Travel Magazine and other partners, organized the “Experiencing Traditional Hue Mid-Autumn Festival”program. This event is part of a series of activities taking place in the four seasons of Hue Festival 2024, aiming at responding to the autumn festival - “Hue in Autumn” of the Hue Festival 2024.

The distinctive images and flavors of local specialties brought by women’s union (WU) members to contests, or food stores owned by members, are actively introduced and promoted by the Provincial WU and its local branches, contributing to introducing Hue's culinary culture far and wide.

In an effort to collect and duplicate documents for the work of relic renovation and preservation, Hue Monuments Conservation Center has sent its staff to the Overseas National Archives (ANOM) in the city of Aix en Provence and the École Française d'Extrême-Orient (EFEO) in Paris to access the source of documents related to the Nguyen Dynasty.

On the afternoon of September 4th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, held a meeting with the leaders of Viet Personal Mobility Co., Ltd. The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has just issued a decision to recognize “The Knowledge of Making and Wearing Hue Ao dai” of Thua Thien Hue Province as part of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. This serves as an impetus for the Thua Thien Hue Garment Association to promote the introduction of the five-panel Ao dai into schools.

On September 4th, the University of Education, Hue University organized the Application and Admission Procedures for 1,809 new students who confirmed their admission to the university.

In the joyful atmosphere, celebrating the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Department of Culture and Sports organized the 35th Traditional Boat Racing Competition of Thua Thien Hue province on the morning of September 2, with the participation of 9 units from wards and communes of 9 districts, towns and Hue City.

On the morning of September 1st, the 5th edition of “Hue Jogging – Running for the community” event of 2024, with the theme “Hue Always New,” took place at the Square of the Provincial Administrative Urban Area in Xuan Phu Ward, Hue City.

Hue is colorful on the days near Mid-Autumn Festival. Hundreds of unicorn heads, together with accessories and props displayed for sale along the street have attracted buyers and wanderers.

On the morning of August 31st, at Duyet Thi Duong Royal Theater (Hue Imperial Citadel), the “Rencontres du Vietnam” (Meeting Vietnam) organization granted Vallet scholarships to students with high academic achievements in Thua Thien Hue Province. Attending the ceremony was Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
