On the evening of March 14th, at the hall of Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Institut Français de Hué, in coordination with Hue Vietnam - France Friendship Association and local educational institutions, organized Francophonie Night 2026. The activity is part of a series of events celebrating International Francophonie Day and attracted a large number of students.

On the afternoon of March 5th, a working delegation from the Standing Board of the City Party Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, visited and held a working session at Carlsberg Vietnam in Phu Bai. On February 28, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training held the final round of the city-level English debating competition for high school students for the 2025-2026 academic year.

On the afternoon of February 10th, the Department of Education and Training organized the preliminary round for the city-level “Secondary English Debate Competition” to select outstanding students for the 2025-2026 school year at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School.

On the afternoon of February 4, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a courtesy reception for a delegation from Champasak Province (Lao People’s Democratic Republic). The delegation visited, extended Tet greetings, and congratulated the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The delegation was led by Mr. Somboun Heuangvongsa, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Champasak Provincial Administration Committee.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, on January 31, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, presented 400 Tet gift packages to poor households and those in difficult circumstances in An Cuu and Phu Xuan wards.

On the afternoon of January 29, as part of the contest “I Love My Homeland’s Seas and Islands” for the 2025-2026 academic year, the City Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education and Mass Mobilization, in coordination with the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, organized a working delegation to visit and present Tet gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in My Thuong, Phu Ho, and Thanh Thuy wards and communes.
