From June 26 to 28, at 62 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi, the distinctive products, specialties, and cultural values of the Ancient Capital came together in the ‘Hue Thuong’ program, part of ‘The Vitality of Vietnamese Goods’ programme No. 8. The program not only brought the essence of Hue to the heart of the Capital, but also created a space connecting local products with consumers nationwide through a combination of in-person experiences and e-commerce.

This was the theme of a community cycling event organized by the People's Committee of Huong Tra Ward on the morning of July 5th as part of Hue Ao Dai Week 2026.

On the morning of July 3, hundreds of people wearing the traditional ao-dai took part in the “Ao Dai Connecting Tourism and Heritage” event, held at the forecourt of Quoc Tu Giam historical site of Hue Imperial Citadel (on 23 Thang 8 St., Phu Xuan Ward).

Amid the rapidly changing pace of modern life, in the ethnic minority communities of Hue City, traditional culture continues to be quietly revived and preserved. This is part of an ongoing effort to restore the distinctive cultural values of the Bru–Van Kieu people.

On the afternoon of July 2, Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, had a courtesy meeting with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) on an official visit to Hue.

Amidst the blistering June heat of the borderland, over 100 armed forces personnel are pushing their limits in a '60-day-and-night' campaign to beat the deadline. Their paramount mission: complete construction on the A Luoi 4 Multi-level Primary and Lower Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in time for the opening drum of the new 2026 - 2027 academic year.

On June 29 and 30, the Odonto - Stomatology Center at Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Smile Train Vietnam, organized a comprehensive examination and consultation program for patients with cleft lip and cleft palate.

On June 30th, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, chaired a courtesy meeting and working session with a delegation from South Korea's KX Group, led by Lee Kang Bong, Vice Chairman of the Group.

On the afternoon of June 29, the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to gather feedback from experts, scientists, and relevant agencies and organizations on the draft proposal for the Hue High-Tech Park. Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang attended and delivered opening remarks to guide the discussion.

Relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation continue to develop strongly, with Vietnam emerging as an increasingly attractive destination for Russian travelers. Given the considerable untapped potential for tourism cooperation between the two countries, Hue City's proactive efforts to strengthen partnerships and attract Russian visitors present significant opportunities.
