The donated organ from a 65-year-old woman, who was relatively lightweight from Hai Duong; the time of cold ischemia during transport across Vietnam was minimized; and the need to dissect the entire heart and major blood vessels before transplantation... These challenges were overcome by the medical team at Hue Central Hospital (HCH), bringing life to a patient with end-stage heart failure.

At 22 years old, Nguyen Thanh Tai (born in 2002), a student of medical class 20B at Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, owns 43 voluntary blood donation certificates. At the ceremony honoring 100 national outstanding voluntary blood donors in 2024, Tai was the youngest delegate at the event.

On the night of May 6th, 2024, the three romances composed by Le Tu Minh, a Hue-native musician, were played at the Auditorium of Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. That was indeed a historic moment because it was the first time Vietnamese music had been played on stage at the oldest and most prestigious symphony house of Russia.

Since the establishment in 2019 with the initial 80 members, the Green Wind Choir has now gathered nearly 200 members from 6 to 86 years old. This is the first community choir to organize its own choral concert, which has become an annual event and been eagerly awaited by audiences. Ms. Hoang Thi Khanh, 81 years old, selling betel nut at Dong Ba market, said that before 1975, small traders all wore ao dai, and Dong Ba was like a miniature Hue, a place preserving the essence of Hue's cultural heritage. Sometimes visitors from far away come to Hue, to Dong Ba market, just to hear the very authentic Hue dialect of the old and young ladies.
