As part of the 5th Regional Conference of Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) - Asia-Pacific Region, the discussion session on the afternoon of October 15th became one of the most notable highlights of the event. The exchange focused on policies, management experience, and solutions to improve quality of life in cities endowed with unique heritage values.

Each delicate stroke of white and colored chalk transforms the classroom chalkboard into a lively painting, evoking an image of Hue that is both serene and poetic.

After many years of sustaining their lives through regular blood transfusions, many pediatric patients suffering from congenital hemolytic anemia (Thalassemia) have now found the “light at the end of the tunnel” thanks to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at Hue Central Hospital. From these successful transplant cases, a door of hope has opened, bringing the children a healthy, normal life and complete joy after so many difficult days.

After nearly two-thirds of the journey of the National Tourism Year (NTY) - Hue 2025, Hue’s tourism industry has recorded many positive results. The stretches of forest in A Luoi not only shelter the villages, but also have now become the livelihood foundation for locals. The Emission Reductions Payment Agreement (ERPA) in the North Central Region has helped people in the mountainous areas gain stable extra income, and more importantly, changed their perspective: Protecting the forest is not just a responsibility, but a right associated with their daily lives.

To build an e-government and smart city, Hue City has been focusing on collecting, integrating, and unifying digital data. This is not merely a technical solution but also a governance method that enhances transparency, efficiency, and public service for citizens and businesses.
