On the evening of March 3 (the 15th day of the first lunar month), at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel, the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival and Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the art program “Thi di ngon chi” on the occasion of the 24th Vietnamese Poetry Day.

On the evening of March 3rd (15th day of the first lunar month), at Ngo Mon Square - Hue Imperial Citadel, as part of Hue Festival 2026 and Hue Poetry Day, the Festival Organizing Committee will coordinate with Hue Monuments Conservation Centre to present the “Thi di ngon chi” (poetry is used to express aspiration/ideals) art show to the public.

According to Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, Huyen Tran Temple Festival for the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026, themed “Honoring the Ancestors - Sacred Imprints of Territorial Expansion”, will be held on the 8th and 9th days of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse (corresponding to February 24-25, 2026) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center (151 Thien Thai Street, An Cuu Ward, Hue City).

On the morning of January 1st, in the warm sunshine on the first morning of the new year, the area around Ngo Mon Gate of Hue Imperial Citadel became lively as the Nguyen Dynasty Ban Soc ceremony was reenacted in a theatricalized format, officially opening Hue Festival 2026. The event also marked the first festival of the year, attracting a large number of local residents and visitors.

On the evening of December 21, as part of the closing event of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025, Ngo Mon Square - Hue Imperial Citadel transformed into a “high-energy hotspot” of music as the Mega Booming Day 2 attracted thousands of spectators and young people, who immersed themselves in the enthusiastic atmosphere of Hue Mega Concert.

Nguyen Luong Ngoc Khanh (stage name Mr. Boomba) is one of the distinctive names in Hue's music scene today. He is both a monochord artist associated with Hue Chamber Music Club, and a music producer in the hiphop and underground music community in Vietnam.

On the morning of October 5, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh inspected the preparations for Viettel Y-Fest 2025 event at Ngo Mon Square. The event is organized by Viettel Telecom (Viettel Telecommunications Corporation) under the theme “SYNC OF HEART - Harmonizing Empathy.”

On September 16, in Hanoi, the National Data Association (NDA) had a working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center to discuss a cooperation plan in digital transformation and heritage data development. Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Vice Chairman of the NDA; Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center; and Mr. Nguyen Long, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Informatics Association, attended the working session.

After being postponed in April 2025, BamBoo Artists Agency Joint Stock Company (BAA) announced that the highly anticipated “Mega Booming - Hue 2025” grand music festival, featuring an impressive scale and high artistic quality, will take place for one spectacular night on July 6th, 2025, at Ngo Mon Square - Hue Imperial Citadel.

On April 19th, a special event titled “Hue – Developing green heritage tourism and a bicycle city” will take place at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel. The event is jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, VietPM (representative of GCOO brand in Vietnam), and Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).
