The Lunar New Year, which marks the beginning of a new year, is one of the peak seasons of tourism. Therefore, the ancient capital tourism industry deploys many services to best serve tourists.

That is the name of the exhibition organized by Thua Thien Hue Historical Museum to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (Feb 3, 1930 – Feb 3, 2023); 55th anniversary of the 1968 Spring General Offensive and Uprising and welcome the New Year of the Cat 2023.

Saying goodbye to the old year and welcoming the New Year of the Cat 2023, Hue artistsintroduce to the public paintings of this year's zodiac: the cat. This is an interesting source of inspiration for artists, a hobby of those who love Tet paintings, as well as a spiritual gift to the public with the wish of a peaceful and happy new year.

After the whole year of hard work, no matter how busy they are, as the last days of the old year are gradually passing, everyone just wants to prepare the most "Spring" things to make Tet at their home full and fresh, like the wishing for a new year full of joy and happiness.

Among the activities to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, on the morning of January 14 (23rd December, Lunar calendar), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the bamboo pole erection ceremony in Trieu To Mieu, The To Mieu in the Citadel.

The three venues, which are scheduled for the high-altitude fireworks to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, are Hue City, Phong Dien District, and Phu Loc District.

Up to this point, supermarkets in the province have replenished stock of goods in a fairly abundant quantity to serve the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023 when a higher shopping demand as compared to the previous year is forecasted.

2022 is coming to an end and the country is preparing to welcome 2023 with many new hopes.
