| Hue University honors freshmen with top scores in the entrance exam |
This year, Hue University’s opening ceremony took place simultaneously with the national opening ceremony, and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now, the Ministry of Education and Training). The opening ceremony marks not only the start of a new academic year, but also the beginning of a journey of integration and maturity of new students in the university environment.
During the opening ceremony, Hue University presented awards to the top entrance exam scorers of Hue University and those of its member university. It also commended and honored 300 outstanding students, including 51 students with exceptionally excellent academic performance out of the total 60,000 students across Hue University.
*At the opening ceremony of the academic year 2025 - 2026, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, welcomed 1,411 new students of the 2025 cohort across 11 full-time undergraduate majors.
*On the same day, the University of Education, Hue University, held its opening ceremony of the academic year 2025 - 2026, welcoming 2,068 new undergraduate students, 355 graduate students, and 5 postgraduate candidates.
