Hue Half Marathon 2023 took place at dawn on June 25, with the participation of thousands of people from all over Vietnam and other countries around the world.

This information was informed by the leaders of Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum (144 Dang Thai Than, Hue City) at the preliminary conference of one year operation which was held on the morning of June 24.

On the evening of June 23, the Hue Lotus Festival 2023, themed "Lotus Beautifies Hue," was officially opened at Tinh Tam Lake in Hue City. The event is directed by the Provincial People's Committee and organized by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with LAATA Vietnam Limited Liability Company, with the participation of Hue Vietnam Organic Company Limited, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, and several other businesses from both within and outside the province.

On the afternoon of June 22nd, Hue University announced that the Times Higher Education, a magazine covering news and issues related to higher education, has released the Times Higher Education’s (THE) Asia University Rankings 2023.

After two previous festivals in 2018 (themed "The Legend of a Flower") and 2022 (themed "Lotus - Essence of Heaven and Earth"), the Hue Lotus Festival 2023 with the theme "Lotus Beautifies Hue" will be held at Tinh Tam Lake for three days, from June 23rd to June 25th.

From June 19 to 23, the Orthonations organization (the US) with 10 members led by Professor Kenneth Montgomery has had a working session at Hue Central Hospital.

In the framework of the activities celebrating 30th anniversary (1993 - 2023) of the Complex of Hue Monuments and 20th anniversary (2003 - 2023) of the Royal Music - Vietnam Royal Court Music being recognized as a world heritage by UNESCO, on the morning of June 16, at Hien Lam Cac (Hien Lam Palace) - Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held an exhibition named “Vietnam land on Nine Dynasty Urns”.
