On September 10th, Hue City Women’s Union, in collaboration with Phu Xuan Ward Women’s Union, organized the forum “Listening to Children - Protecting Children in Cyberspace” for officials and members of the Phu Xuan Ward Women’s Union. ​

On August 18, the Women’s Union of Dan Dien Commune in collaboration with Hue Hearts Fund held a ceremony to award scholarships to students overcoming difficult circumstances.

In 2020, when male officials and civil servants of the Department of Culture and Sports wore ao dai during working days and the weekly flag-raising ceremony, it immediately sparked controversy online. Then, it was not just the cultural sector, at important events, the provincial leaders (now Hue City) and intellectuals also began wearing ao dai. The appearance of the traditional ao dai for both men and women at cultural and educational events made the ceremonies more solemn, elegant, and impressive.

It was just another ordinary day at the Center for Nursing and Care for the Meritorious in Hue City - a place that welcomes revolution contributors, and policy beneficiaries each year. It is also a long-term home for dozens of war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs who have no one to rely on. The Center is currently caring for ten elderly women. Most of them live alone and have special circumstances, but here they are cared for with wholehearted attention and dedication.

On the afternoon of July 6, at the Oncology Center of Hue Central Hospital, the project “One Painting - Many Hopes” in collaboration with the Hue City Women Entrepreneurs Association organized the program “Sowing Little Sun”. In Da Lay commune (Da Teh district, Lam Dong province), the new homeland of the people from Hue today, it is hard to recognize the traces of the hardships from nearly half a century ago. The most recognizable feature in this rural area that carries "Hue far away" is the distinctive Hue accent, the conical hats of the elderly women glistening as they shield their kind smiles, and the lively mornings with loc and nam cakes. We arrived at the Da Lay market in the Central Highlands and felt as if we were back in Hue, enjoying street food and chatting at a corner of Dong Ba or An Cuu markets…

On the afternoon of March 3, the Women’s Union in collaboration with the Phu Xuan District Labor Federation of Hue City held the Cultural and Sports Festival. The program attracted over 300 female cadres, union’s members, officers, and workers.

On the afternoon of January 20, at Hue Central Hospital, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City in collaboration with the City’s Women Entrepreneurs Association, the Women’s Intellectuals Association of the hospital, the Hospital’s Women Affairs Committee, and the Social Work - Customer Service Department held a program titled “Spring of Love” for patients.

On the afternoon of December 29, at the Oncology Center (Hue Central Hospital), volunteers from the “One Painting - Many Hopes” project and Thua Thien Hue Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association organized a New Year's celebration for patients there.

On the afternoon of November 27, the Provincial Women's Union, in collaboration with the Blue Dragon International (Blue Dragon Children's Organization), organized a conference to exchange experiences and implement support activities for children, adolescents, and women, as well as the prevention and combat against human trafficking, between Thua Thien Hue and Ha Giang provinces.
