The project "Preservation, renovation, restoration of Tu Duc Mausoleum", including Dien Hoa Khiem (Royal palace for worship and ceremonies), Minh Khiem Duong (Ceremonial pavilion), On Khiem Duong (Pavilion for royal functions), rampart, gate, and screen wall is being implemented by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC).

A tea tray, a smoking pipe, and a set of Chinese books donated by Emperor Ham Nghi’s descendants have been officially gifted to Hue and Quang Trị. These items were handed over by the Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to representatives of Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the People’s Committee of Cam Lo District, Quang Tri Province.

Heritage education program launched

“Coloring heritage” and “Hue Art Memory Game” featuring traditional Vietnamese motifs from the Nguyen Dynasty are part of the “Heritage education” program for 2024, jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center and GEKE (German society for the Preservation of cultural heritage). The program is held at Phung Tien Temple in Hue Imperial Citadel and is entirely free for children.
