There is an entrepreneur holding dual nationality, with a French father and a mother from South Vietnam. She, though not a Hue woman, has been attached to Hue and strangely crazy about Hue for more than 20 years now. That is also why she transferred most of her cultural and artistic assets to Hue, devoting a luxurious and spacious space inherently for profitable business purposes to building a non-public museum of fine arts.

On the afternoon of October 6, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology held a conference to accept the results of the provincial-level scientific technological research study entitled "Building a database on Tuồng Hue art", which is carried out by Hue Monuments Conservation Center.

Thousands of artifacts including Buddhist woodblocks, books related to philosophy, literature, Buddhism as well as disciplines related to a humane society, and recordings of Hue Buddhist events... which have been carefully collected by and donated to the Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hue for many years are officially announced for the first time, surprising the public.

Along with the public museum system, there are also privately-owned museums in Thua Thien Hue, where a variety of artifacts and antiques are introduced to the public. They are results from the research and collection process of the collectors.
