On September 9th, Hue University (HU) held a ceremony to announce the Resolution of the HU Council recognizing the Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, HU, for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital has successfully applied a modified Stoppa surgical approach combined with personalized 3D printing technology to treat an acetabular fracture in a 68-year-old patient who suffered severe multiple injuries after a traffic accident. This was a complex surgery, marking an important advancement in managing pelvic injuries and opening opportunities to apply new techniques to improve treatment quality for patients.

On July 29 - 30, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University organized the Vietnam - Germany Psychotherapy Conference: Evidence and Application in Vietnam.

On the morning of July 25, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a Continuing Medical Education (CME) course titled “Strengthening Integrated Management of Hypertension, Diabetes, and Stroke Prevention in the Community”; it also donated 2.000 electronic blood pressure monitors to health stations and people in the area.

On July 17, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor’s degrees to students who completed the Work-Study Transfer Program for the academic year 2023 -2025.

On July 12, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a launching ceremony for the 2025 “Green Summer” volunteer campaign with the theme: “Youth take the lead and volunteer for community health”.

On July 9, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy held a graduation ceremony for nearly 1,300 formal doctors, pharmacists, and bachelor’s degree holders from the academic year of 2025.

On June 26, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University in collaboration with Youngsan Health and Science University (South Korea) organized the event “Health Festival” 2025.

That was the theme of the national-level scientific conference organized on June 21 by the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hue City (Union of Associations) in collaboration with the Department of Health, the Department of Science and Technology, Hue Central Hospital, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Association, and the Infectious Diseases Association of the city. The event gathered leading experts in health, environment, and agriculture - forestry from Vietnam and abroad.

Over two days (June 20 - 21), Hue City’s Cardiology Association, in collaboration with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the City, Hue Central Hospital, and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy’s Hospital, organized the 4th Ancient Capital Congress of Cardiology.
