Hoang Ngoc Vinh An, a medical student, representing Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, surpassed many contestants from medical and pharmacy universities across the country to win the Second Prize in the “National Medical and Pharmacy Students’ Model Session” competition. This achievement helped Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy make a mark at the “9th National Medical Education Conference - 2025”, held at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in early November.

On November 18, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung visited and extended congratulations to the staff, lecturers, and teachers of Hue University and the Department of Education and Training on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2025).

In the context of increasingly deep integration of higher education, international cooperation has become one of the key strategies to enhance the quality of training, research, and academic reputation. Hue University has been affirming its role as a major training and scientific research center in the Central - Central Highlands region, and the whole country, through significant advancements in international cooperation.

The Karate and Taekwondo competitions of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025-2026) officially opened on the morning of October 24th at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium of the Faculty of Physical Education - Hue University. These are the third and fourth events (following boat racing and pétanque) among a total of 18 sports featured in the festival.

Over the years, Hue University and its member institutions have ceaselessly improved and upgraded infrastructure quality to meet the needs of educational innovation following the orientation of modernization and integration.

On the afternoon of October 12th, at the Sports and Cultural Center Stadium of Phu Xuan Ward (Hue City), the Ministry of Education and Training, in coordination with Vietnam University and Professional Sports Association and Hue University and Professional Sports Association, held the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Men Student Football Tournament - TV360 Cup, Central Region.

On September 27th, the 11th International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research in Linguistics and Language Education took place at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University. The event was jointly organized by the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University, James Madison University (USA), Guangxi Normal University (China), and Buriram Rajabhat University (Thailand).

One had planned to put aside her dream of studying, the other had lost both parents, yet both top-score female students were able to step into the university lecture hall thanks to the dedication and support of the lecturers at Hue University of Education.

On September 23rd, a workshop on sharing experiences in implementing the Happy School Project was held in Hue City, jointly organized by the City’s Department of Education and Training, the University of Education - Hue University, and Eurasia Foundation.

On September 19, the University of Law, Hue University, in collaboration with the Institute of Human Rights of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics organized the National Scientific Conference on “The United Nations Human Rights Education Program, Phase 5 (2025-2029)”.
