On July 20th, the provincial Red Cross Society, Oxfam in Vietnam, and the New Zealand Embassy in Hanoi organized a summary workshop for the project “Post-COVID-19 livelihood recovery for female farmers in particularly difficult and for difficult communes in Thua Thien Hue.” The event was attended by Ms. Caroline Rachel Beresford, New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam.

On May 26th, at Hai Ba Trung High School, the provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary blood donation, the Co Do Living Blood Bank, and the provincial Red Cross Association organized the “Pink Hat of Hue” festival, focusing on hair donation and organ donation registration to save people’s lives.

As part of a chain of activities to respond to Humanitarian Month 2023, on May 21, Hue City Red Cross Society awarded scholarships of the second quarter to 18 students overcoming difficult circumstances in their studies.
