On the morning of May 20, at Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, Hue Monuments Conservation Center solemnly received two casual ao dai that belonged to Empress Dowager Tu Cung. Ms. Cong Ton Nu Kim Chi (currently living in the US) authorized Mr. Pham Xuan Cuong to present them.

For three nights, from April 25 to 27, at Di Nhien Duong Pavilion - an ancient architectural structure in Thieu Phuong Garden - within Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center collaborated with the Doi Dep tea brand to organize the program “Re-enacting the scene of the emperors hosting tea party for his mandarins” as part of the launch of the Royal tea enjoyment service.

With more than 25 years of collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Prof. Satoh Shigeru, a leading expert in the field of landscape study and urban planning at Institute of Urban and Regional Studies, Waseda University in Japan, has made many interesting discoveries about the mountain-water landscape in Hue. Hue Today Weekly had a meeting and interview with him about his exciting discoveries.

On the afternoon of April 26th, at Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion) inside Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the “Exploring and Promoting the value of the Documentary Heritage: The relief castings on the Nine Dynastic Urns at Hue Imperial Citadel” event in celebration of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025.

On the afternoon of April 26, at the exhibition space on the 2nd floor of Kien Trung Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition themed “The odyssey of Vietnamese ceramics”. This event is part of Hue Festival 2025 and the National Tourism Year 2025.

On April 21st, a delegation from Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) to discuss the National Target Program for Cultural Development.

On the morning of April 19, a special event titled “Hue - Pioneer in Green Heritage Tourism Development and Bicycle City" took place at the Noon Gate Square - Hue Imperial Citadel. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC), and representatives of the GCOO brand in Vietnam – VietPM.

On April 19th, a special event titled “Hue – Developing green heritage tourism and a bicycle city” will take place at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel. The event is jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, VietPM (representative of GCOO brand in Vietnam), and Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).

Over the past 20 days (starting from March 20th), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with National Museum of History, has completed archaeological excavations at three test pits in the Dai Cung Mon area.

On the afternoon of March 24th, at Kien Trung Palace – Hue Imperial Citadel, the exhibition showcasing the artworks of Emperor Ham Nghi themed “Troi, Non, Nuoc | Allusive Panorama” (Sky, Mountain, Water | Allusive Panorama) was officially launched by Art Republik Vietnam magazine, in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the French Institute in Vietnam.
