On the occasion of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2023, on the morning of April 19, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened an exhibition of rare books and introduced the work "Ngự chế minh văn cổ khí đồ" by Emperor Minh Mang.

In response to the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, on the morning of April 18, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opened the exhibition “Preserving the Historical Vestige – Discovering Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion)”. Attending the event were Mr. Hoang Khanh Hung, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee.

On the morning of March 30, Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced that they would charge visitors entrance fee for visiting the 3 relics: Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, An Dinh Palace and Emperor Thieu Tri's tomb.

"Thien thi may doa" (Blossoms of Zen Poetry) was a performance of Zen poetry recitation taking place at Duyet Thi Duong Theater on the evening of March 26. This was an activity within the framework of Vietnamese Zen poetry week jointly organized by Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, Hue Monuments Conservation Center and Tam Viet cultural research group.

With an aim to add more documents, photos and valuable resources of books to Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion), Hue Monuments Conservation Center launched a ceremony to donate and receive documents and books, etc., with the theme “The Imprint of Tang Tho Lau in Our Mind”.

On the afternoon of March 20, Hue Monuments Conservation Center welcomed H.E. Oh Youngju, new Korean Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam, and other members of the delegation to visit Hue Imperial Palace.

This contest is organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with the People's Committee of Hue City, with the aim to explore creative ideas of public architecture (for pedestrians) from Nguyen Hoang bus station to Hue Imperial City area.

On the night of March 6, Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced that they would offer free entrance ticket for female tourists wearing traditional Ao dai to visit relics on International Women’s Day.

Marking the end of the Lunar New Year holiday, on the morning of the 7th day of Lunar New Year (January 28, 2023), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held a ceremony to lower the Neu pole and open the seal to greet the new year at The Mieu Temple and Trieu Mieu Temple - Imperial City.

According to Hue Monuments Conservation Center, during the three days of the Lunar New Year of the Cat in 2023, the Hue heritage site welcomed over 53,000 visitors on its free entrance policy.
