On the afternoon of October 9th, as part of “Hue - Innovation for Sustainable Development” (Hue Innovation Day 2025) event, a forum was held under the theme “Developing the Private Economy in Connection with Heritage Economy in Hue”. The event was jointly organized by Hue Institute for Development Studies, the Department of Science and Technology, and Hue Monuments Conservation Center.

“Hue Innovation Day 2025” forum (“Hue innovates for sustainable development”) with the theme “Developing the private economy in the digital economy - Opportunities and directions for Hue” and Hue Startup Fair 2025 are being co-organized by Hue Institute for Development Studies, the Department of Science and Technology, and Hue Monuments Conservation Center over two days, October 9 and 10.

On October 8th in Hanoi, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) was honored at the Vietnam Digital Awards (VDA) 2025 in the “Outstanding Digital Transformation Enterprise/Organization” category with its “Digital Identification and Exhibition of Nguyen Dynasty Antiquities” solution.

On the evening of October 6th, at the historic Imperial Treasury Residence inside Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center hosted the program “Hue Royal Mid-Autumn Festival 2025”, one of the cultural highlights of Hue Festival 2025.

In response to the series of activities within the framework of the Autumn Festival themed “Hue in Autumn” of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival 2025, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the People’s Committee of Phu Xuan Ward, is preparing a variety of exciting programs for locals and visitors. Among them, the most anticipated highlight is the Unicorn-Lion-Dragon Dance Festival, Hue Unicorn dance performances, and the Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade through the streets in 2025.

On September 16, in Hanoi, the National Data Association (NDA) had a working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center to discuss a cooperation plan in digital transformation and heritage data development. Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Vice Chairman of the NDA; Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center; and Mr. Nguyen Long, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Informatics Association, attended the working session.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution’s Victory (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and National Day (September 2), Hue Monuments Conservation Center will offer ticket exemption for Vietnamese citizens for 2 days, including August 19 and September 2.

On the afternoon of August 1st, at Kien Trung Palace (Hue Imperial Citadel), Hue Monuments Conservation Center, in collaboration with the University of Arts - Hue University officially opened the thematic exhibition “Fine Arts & Heritage 4: The Four Sacred Creatures through Visual Arts”.

“Up to now, nearly 200 works and items within the Complex of Hue Monuments have been preserved, restored, and renovated, with a total expense of over 2.000 billion VND. This work has always strictly complied with the regulations of the 1972 World Heritage Convention, UNESCO guidelines, and the Law on Cultural Heritage of Vietnam, ensuring authenticity, integrity, and adaptability to the harsh climate conditions of the Central region of Vietnam, etc.,”. These details were shared by Hue Monuments Conservation Center to Mr. Lazare Eloundou, Director of UNESCO Cultural Heritage Center during his visit and working trip in Vietnam at the end of May.

On July 10, Ms. Sophie Maysonnave - Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Activities at the French Embassy in Vietnam, and Director of the French Institute in Vietnam had an official meeting with Hue Monuments Conservation Center before concluding her term of working service in Vietnam.
