Over time, the remaining French architectural works in Hue ancient Imperial City are considered valuable architectural heritage, adding a touch of elegance to the historical and cultural flow of the region.

On the afternoon of April 26th, at Tang Tho Lau (Archive Pavilion) inside Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized the “Exploring and Promoting the value of the Documentary Heritage: The relief castings on the Nine Dynastic Urns at Hue Imperial Citadel” event in celebration of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025.

On the morning of April 19, a special event titled “Hue - Pioneer in Green Heritage Tourism Development and Bicycle City" took place at the Noon Gate Square - Hue Imperial Citadel. The event was jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC), and representatives of the GCOO brand in Vietnam – VietPM.

On April 19th, a special event titled “Hue – Developing green heritage tourism and a bicycle city” will take place at Ngo Mon Square – Hue Imperial Citadel. The event is jointly organized by Hue Monuments Conservation Center, VietPM (representative of GCOO brand in Vietnam), and Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC).

Located about 20km west of Hue Imperial City, Emperor Gia Long's Mausoleum (or Thien Tho Mausoleum) is a relic of the Complex of Hue Monuments, which has been recognized by the UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

The work of collecting and digitizing documents is incredibly important and has never been enough to effectively carry out the restoration of cultural heritage. For the cultural heritage of Hue, this need is even more urgent as the Complex of Monuments of Hue Imperial City still has many structures awaiting sufficient documentation to complete scientific files for restoration purposes.

On the afternoon of January 17, at Duyet Thi Duong Theater - Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the opening ceremony of Hue tuong mask exhibition space. This program was implemented with the sponsorship of Vingroup Innovation Fund (VinIF).

Mirror candy has a transparent appearance, resembling a small mirror and I found out and interesting thing is that most traditional candies from the Imperial City of Hue are named after the shape or form of their appearance, such as betel nut candy, ginger candy, hammer candy, and mirror candy... These names are unique, simple, and easy to remember.

More than 32,000 artifacts from the Thua Thien Hue History Museum are being meticulously transferred from Quoc Tu Giam, or the Imperial Academy, to a new facility at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Hue City.

On October 17, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University held the opening ceremony of the final round of the Robocon Huet - 2024, with the theme “Exploring Hue Imperial City”.
