On the 200th anniversary of the birthday of celebrity Dang Huy Tru (May 16, 1825 - May 16, 2025) on May 16, Hue City Museum of History in collaboration with the Executive Committee of Dang family in Thanh Luong Village and many organizations held an incense offering ceremony at the worship house of Mr. Dang Huy Tru (Huong Xuan Ward, Huong Tra Town).

More than a year after the initial land clearing and village-building efforts, a new homeland for settlers from Hue City gradually began to take shape in the southernmost reaches of Lam Dong province. Around 3,000 households with thousands of residents were starting to settle into their new lives.

With green and peaceful spaces of ‘tea’ (Acalypha evrardii) hedges, tiny yards, decorative guarding screens, as well as the yellow apricot blossom trees, and lovely persimmon plants in front of the house, etc. Hue garden houses reflect a slow-paced lifestyle that is close to nature and values the long-standing cultural values of Hue locals.

Located along the Perfume River, the house at 23 - 25 Le Loi street is gradually transforming into a cultural space for book lovers and Hue culture enthusiasts.

On December 18th, at Ruong House Space within the Interior Palace area of Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) in collaboration with Comicola and Phygital Labs officially launched the experience area and introduced the “Imperial Ancient Capital Archaeology Chronicles” project.

After more than 20 years of waiting, the first restoration of an ancient rường house (beamed house) among 21 ones in Bao Vinh Ancient Town, Huong Vinh Ward, Hue City, began in early November 2024. The project aims to restore the house to its original Hue-style beam architecture, contributing to urban revitalization, and promoting tourism and services in Bao Vinh Ancient Town.

On the morning of November 17, Kim Dong Publishing House in collaboration with Hue City Center of Culture, Information and Sports, and Club of Book and Hue Culture held a program “Hue people tell stories about Hue”, featuring an exchange with writer and journalist Phi Tan, the researcher Le Vu Truong Giang on the occasion of launching the book “Hue people tell stories about Hue” and “Students over the Tam Giang Lagoon”.

The collection of essays and notes, “A Yellow Apricot tree in front of the house: Notes on Hue - The elegant land of moss” (Vietnam Women’s Publishing House), was introduced by its author, Minh Tu, journalist, to book lovers at Hanoi’s Book Street (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).

On the afternoon of October 9, at Thanh Nien Guest House, Tuoi Tre newspaper coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union to organize the "Tiep Suc Den Truong" scholarship awarding ceremony for 91 new students with difficult circumstances from Thua Thien Hue (82 new students) and Quang Ngai (9 new students).

On September 29, the Hue Garden house Management and Protection Board, belonging to Hue People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the garden house located at No.3 Pham Thi Lien St., Kim Long ward, Hue City.
