In response to the 2026 “For the Poor” Month, on the afternoon of November 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City received a financial contribution from the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade - Southern Hue Branch (VietinBank Nam Hue). The donation contributed to mobilizing additional resources to support the poor and carry out social welfare activities across the city.

Phan Vu Tuan, a painter, was born in 1994 in Son Tien Commune, Ha Tinh Province. He grew up in a midland village, surrounded by mountain ranges and immersed in the rhythms of life in a farming family. After studying at the University of Fine Arts in Hue, he decided to remain in the city beside the Huong River, where he has made his home and continued to paint. Over time, Tuan has become deeply attached to Hue, which has come to feel like a second homeland. His native Son Tien village and Hue City have become the two central subjects of his watercolour paintings.

On October 28th and 29th, the Department of Education and Training held a training course at Quoc Hoc-Hue High School for the Gifted for 226 primary school teachers and education managers across the city, focusing on physical education, safe swimming instruction and drowning prevention.
