With considerable room and momentum for development, Hue City has many advantages in pursuing a modern, green and sustainable industrial sector. However, for industry to become a true engine of growth and contribute to the city’s goal of double-digit economic expansion, a comprehensive set of coordinated solutions is needed.

The highland district of A Luoi, Hue City, boasts the pristine beauty of the Truong Son mountains and forests, with the white cascade of the A Nor Waterfall standing out amid endless stretches of green. What draws visitors here is not only the natural scenery, but also the distinctive cultural values of the Ta Oi and Pa Co ethnic communities.

On the afternoon of August 7, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, together with representatives of departments and agencies, had a meeting and working session with a delegation of South Korean businesses led by Ms. Greene Heather, Visiting Professor and Chief Consulting Expert at Hue Central Hospital.

Green transition requires businesses to accept higher upfront costs and change the way they operate. This has led many to ask: “What do we gain in return?” In reality, however, those initial investments can translate into stronger competitive advantages, greater brand value, and access to higher-quality customer segments.

On July 25, the Youth Union of the University of Medicine & Pharmacy, Hue University, held the launch ceremony for the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, drawing the participation of over 300 youth union members and student volunteers.
