The mountainous area in the Northeast of Ha Giang in the early days of the spring is brilliant with flowers.

In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year, Hue City becomes extremely bustling as flowers appear everywhere.

On February 3rd, the organizing committee of the 2024 Tet Hue program held a competition for displaying New Year’s Eve offering trays and the exhibition space for the Tet five-fruit trays, traditional Hue cakes, and Tet flower vases.

To sell and serve the customers for the 2024 Lunar New Year of the Dragon, flowers from the South, the North, and even from the suburban flower-growing areas of Hue are being transferred to Hue central area by traders.

As part of activities of Hue Festival 2024, on the morning of February 1st, at Thuong Bac Park (Tran Hung Dao Street, Hue City), the opening ceremony of the 2nd edition of Yellow Apricot Festival in Hue took place. This festival is organized to honor the distinctive flower species of the ancient capital - the Yellow Apricot of Hue.

From December to January each year, the flowering of cherry blossoms in Sa Pa signals the arrival of another spring.

Ha Giang province has just held a ceremony to celebrate Dong Van Karst Plateau becoming a member of UNESCO Geopark Network for the third time and open the 9th Buckwheat Flower Festival 2023.

The antique architectural constructions, the bridges which are inherent with the history of the Capital, as well as the traditional royal dances, or just simply the dragon boats, paper flower lanterns, etc., were described innocently but gracefully and meticulously and prettily on Ao dai by the children.

On the morning of July 7, Hue Monuments Conservation Center coordinated with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports to organize an incense and flower offering ceremony, and a procession of gratitude to the ancestor on the occasion of the death anniversary of Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat, the person who laid the foundation of Ao dai Vietnam. This is one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2023, and within the framework of the Autumn Festival’s activities.

After two previous festivals in 2018 (themed "The Legend of a Flower") and 2022 (themed "Lotus - Essence of Heaven and Earth"), the Hue Lotus Festival 2023 with the theme "Lotus Beautifies Hue" will be held at Tinh Tam Lake for three days, from June 23rd to June 25th.
