Surpassing thousands of projects, a group of students from Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, won the Encouragement Award at the “27th National Euréka Student Scientific Research Award 2025” with the project “Research and fabrication of carbon quantum dots from rice husks in the field of agricultural science.”

On December 20th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in coordination with the Institute of International Education, organized the “European Study Abroad and Career Orientation Fair”.

On the afternoon of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh received and worked with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) led by Mr. Moussa Diarra, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation.

On September 23rd, a workshop on sharing experiences in implementing the Happy School Project was held in Hue City, jointly organized by the City’s Department of Education and Training, the University of Education - Hue University, and Eurasia Foundation.

Alongside promotional activities in several European countries, Hue City’s tourism sector has teamed up with Da Nang to present Central Vietnam tourism in general and that of Hue in particular to the tourism markets of Malaysia and Indonesia. These are considered traditional and promising sources of tourists for Hue.

At the Central and Southern Vietnam finals of the STEM Robotics Robotacon WRO 2025, held recently in Ho Chi Minh City, the Eureka - Lego team from Eureka Center - Hue claimed the championship title in the B0 category for ages 6-10. With this victory, the team has officially secured a spot in the international competition in Singapore this November.

In addition to other potential markets, the tourism sector of the ancient capital is intensifying efforts in promotion, branding, and positioning Hue in European countries. Through a variety of unique programs and activities, Hue’s tourism industry hopes to see strong growth in visitor numbers from this key market in the near future.

From May 4 to 13, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) is coordinating with the People's Committee of Hue City, Tourism Development Support Fund, Vietnam Airlines, and partners to organize a program introducing Vietnamese tourism, traditional craft villages, and cuisine, and connecting businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in three European countries, including Italy, Switzerland, and France.

After surpassing nearly 100 competing teams, two teams from Hue, Eureka-Education and Ocean-Record, will represent Vietnam in the STEM Robot Championship Finals in the U.S. this April.

Music tourism has become a popular and growing type of tourism in many European and Asian countries. In Vietnam, the trend of enjoying music combined with tourism is gradually being embraced by the public, and Hue has taken many moves to develop this type of tourism.
