The 10th National Sports Games are scheduled for November 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Dong Thap. Hue sports teams are expected to compete in 16 disciplines, including football, swimming and diving, archery, badminton, chess, Chinese chess, sepak takraw, shuttlecock kicking, and athletics.

The Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament of the 10th City Sports Festival 2025 - 2026 kicked off on the morning of December 6 at the Canh buom Gymnasium (100 Pham Van Dong - Vy Da Ward), attracting a large number of athletes and spectators to compete and cheer.

The Shuttlecock Kicking Tournament of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025–2026) opened on the morning of October 15 at Canh Buom Sport Hall (100 Pham Van Dong Street), bringing together 51 athletes from Hue University, Binh Dien Commune, Phu Xuan Ward, and Phu Bai Ward to compete.

From November 5 to 8, the group of friends from Hue Fellow Countrymen Association in Bao Loc, together with Cuong Vy Wedding Center - Bao Loc, Lam Dong, organized a trip to support people affected by the floods, those in difficult circumstances, rescue and relief forces, and schools in Hue City.

On the afternoon of October 21st, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Phan Thien Dinh received and worked with a delegation from Donghai Airlines (China) and its representative in the UAE - Aurola, regarding the launch of flights to and from Phu Bai International Airport.

The Management Board of Dong Ba Market organized a review and award ceremony for the contest “Exploring the History of the Formation and Development of Dong Ba Market (1899 - 2024)”. This was one of many meaningful activities in the series of events commemorating the 126th anniversary of the formation and development of Dong Ba Market (August 23rd, 1899 - August 23rd, 2025).

A balancing bike racing took place on the afternoon of July 19 at Menas Zone Vi Da (98 Pham Van Dong Street). This event was socialized within the framework of Hue Sports Festival 2025, and organized by Wind Sports Trading & Services Co., Ltd.

The mountainous areas of A Luoi and Nam Dong (now Phu Loc District) possess a year-round supply of clean, naturally flowing water, making them an ideal environment for sturgeon farming. Capitalizing on this advantage, the local Agricultural Extension Center (AEC) implemented the “Application of Science and Technology to Develop a Sturgeon Nursery and Farming Model Based on the Value Chain in Mountainous Communes of Hue City” project, with the goal of successfully applying scientific and technological advances to sturgeon nursery and farming within a value chain framework.

In Da Lay commune (Da Teh district, Lam Dong province), the new homeland of the people from Hue today, it is hard to recognize the traces of the hardships from nearly half a century ago. The most recognizable feature in this rural area that carries "Hue far away" is the distinctive Hue accent, the conical hats of the elderly women glistening as they shield their kind smiles, and the lively mornings with loc and nam cakes. We arrived at the Da Lay market in the Central Highlands and felt as if we were back in Hue, enjoying street food and chatting at a corner of Dong Ba or An Cuu markets…

There are 40 stalls selling typical dishes located in front of the main gate of the market. The shops have signs, menus, pictures, and price listings in Vietnamese and English to help diners conveniently choose the dish.
