On April 5, the People’s Committee of Hoa Chau Ward officially opened the 1st Sports Festival for the 2025-2026 period. The event drew strong participation from a wide range of groups, including residential quarters, schools, and armed forces units, with the partaking of outstanding athletes who have achieved notable results at both city and national levels.

This is the theme of a thematic exhibition organized by Hue City Museum of History, currently taking place in the Museum’s outdoor space at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street (Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City).

On the afternoon of January 29, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, chaired a working session with the Party Committees of four communes and wards, including Quang Dien, Dan Dien, Phong Quang, and Hoa Chau.

In the middle of the rice fields of Dien Hoa (now Dien Chau Commune, Nghe An Province) stands a small memorial site. There, the final wish of a father - the poet and musician Nguyen Trong Tao, who spent many years with Hue - has been fulfilled.

More than 1,400 documents and artifacts previously managed by Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center have been handed over to Hue City Museum of History (268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

Phuoc Tich is an ancient village located in Phong Hoa Ward, Phong Dien Town, Hue City. The village was established in 1470. Though small, Phuoc Tich boasts 12 river wharfs, symbolizing the 12 founding families who first settled the land. Along with the founding of the village, migrants from Đàng Ngoài (Outer Realm) who came to this land to make a living also brought with them the traditional craft of pottery.

An exhibition commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 was organized by Hue City History Museum. The exhibition opened on January 22 at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Truong An Ward, Thuan Hoa District.

The project "Preservation, renovation, restoration of Tu Duc Mausoleum", including Dien Hoa Khiem (Royal palace for worship and ceremonies), Minh Khiem Duong (Ceremonial pavilion), On Khiem Duong (Pavilion for royal functions), rampart, gate, and screen wall is being implemented by the Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC).

On October 31, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism said that it had sent a document to the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province regarding the preparation of a dossier to recognize Phuoc Tich ancient village (Phong Hoa Commune, Phong Dien District) as a special national relic.

On August 4, a traditional boat racing competition was held in Phong Hoa commune as part of a festival themed “Old Scent of the Ancient Village” in Phong Dien district in 2024.
