On the morning of March 26th, Vietnam Railways Corporation, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, and Da Nang City People's Committee jointly organized the inauguration of a tourism train service between Hue and Da Nang, named “Connecting Central Heritages.”

Ms. Dong Bich Du, Consul General of China in Da Nang congratulated Thua Thien Hue's achievements and socio-economic developments.

On the afternoon of March 25, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting with a delegation of the South Korean Consulate General in Da Nang, led by Mr. Kang Boo Sung.

On March 14, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with a working group from Vietnam Railway Corporation on the preparation to put the Hue - Da Nang railway route into operation.

On March 9th, the Department of Tourism, in cooperation with various departments, organized a program to experience the Hue - Da Nang tourism train.

On the morning of March 5th, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Vice Chairman, Nguyen Thanh Binh, had a meeting with Mr. Yakabe Yoshinori, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang.

Traveling by train to experience fascinating things and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery has become a popular trend among tourists. The efficient operation of a daily tourist train service between Hue and Da Nang, and vice versa, to serve travelers and connect the heritage regions of Central Vietnam is eagerly awaited.

On October 23, three provinces and city, including: Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Thua Thien Hue, coordinated with the Malaysia - Vietnam Friendship Association to organize a tourism introduction program at the World Trade Center Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), Malaysia.
