After a week of activities, the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival, Hue - 2025, organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, closed on the afternoon of May 28.

It also received the “For the Development of Architecture” award at the 2024 - 2025 National Architecture Awards ceremony held on the evening of May 20 in Hanoi.

On May 19, the ceremony of signing sponsorship between the Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2025 and Carlsberg Vietnam was held at Hue City People’s Committee. Accordingly, the Huda beer brand will continue to be the Platinum Sponsor of Hue Festival 2025 with a total sponsorship of up to 9.5 billion VND.

On May 19, in Phu Loc district, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization of Hue City, in coordination with Hue Central Hospital and the People's Committee of Phu Loc district, organized the opening ceremony of the 8th “Red Journey - Red Drops of Hue” program in 2025. This event is part of a series of activities in response to the nationwide blood donation campaign – the Red Journey, towards the celebration of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.

On the 200th anniversary of the birthday of celebrity Dang Huy Tru (May 16, 1825 - May 16, 2025) on May 16, Hue City Museum of History in collaboration with the Executive Committee of Dang family in Thanh Luong Village and many organizations held an incense offering ceremony at the worship house of Mr. Dang Huy Tru (Huong Xuan Ward, Huong Tra Town).

The Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with a team of experts from the National Museum of History, has commenced the second phase of archaeological surveying and excavation at Lieu Coc Twin Towers site.
