On the evening of May 23, the Youth Union of Hue University held the closing ceremony of the 1st Hue Students Football Tournament for the Intrase Cup (Hue Students SV7 2026).

On the morning of May 23rd, the University of Law, Hue University, in coordination with Da Nang Representative Office of the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and Tilleke & Gibbins, held the opening ceremony for the 6th “Student Innovation and Intellectual Property” Competition 2026 under the theme “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”.

On May 22nd, Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School held an awards ceremony for the 2025-2026 school year to recognize and commend students who achieved outstanding results in academics, conduct, and in the city and national level competitions.

On the morning of May 18th, at Hue Central Hospital, Vietnam Health Workers’ Union, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, held a ceremony to launch Workers’ Month 2026 and implement the emulation movement “Health Workers' Union accompanying the health of workers in the period 2026-2030”.

In celebration of the 136th anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on May 18, the Nguyen Chi Thanh Merit Scholarship Fund under the Hue City Association for Promoting Education held a ceremony to award scholarships to students with outstanding achievements in the 2025-2026 National Excellent Student Competition. The award ceremony took place at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On May 17th, the People’s Committee of Hue City held a closing and award ceremony for the 19th Hue City Youth and Children Innovation Contest in 2026. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City; Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Standing Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Council; and Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee.

On the afternoon of May 16th, at UK Academy Hue Bilingual International School, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with FPT Corporation, held a ceremony to honor and present awards for the VioEdu Arena in the 2025-2026 school year.

On the afternoon of May 15th, the People’s Committee of Phong Dien Ward organized the inauguration ceremony for a centralized organic waste treatment model using Que Lam microbial products at Pho Trach Market.

On May 15, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held the announcement ceremony for the Vietnam Private Economy Report 2025 and the Provincial Competitiveness Index 2025 (PCI 2025).

On the afternoon of May 14, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Young Pioneer Council of Hue City organized a flower-offering ceremony, a merit-reporting ceremony to Uncle Ho, and a commendation program honoring outstanding teachers as Young Pioneer Team Leaders and exemplary children of the city in 2026.
