To build an e-government and smart city, Hue City has been focusing on collecting, integrating, and unifying digital data. This is not merely a technical solution but also a governance method that enhances transparency, efficiency, and public service for citizens and businesses.

At the end of August 2025, Hue Central Hospital organized the first “Proton Therapy in Vietnam” workshop. This event is considered an important step toward realizing the plan to build three proton therapy centers at three institutions: K Hospital (Hanoi), Hue Central Hospital, and Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City).

On the afternoon of September 10, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee, organized the opening ceremony of the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival in 2025. After the country was reunified, the Pioneering Youth force transitioned to a new mission: overcoming the consequences of war and contributing to economic development. In response to the revolutionary call at that time, Binh Tri Thien Province and Hue City established two Pioneering Youth regiments tasked with surveying, building roads, clearing land, and constructing homes to welcome thousands of families from Hue to settle in the southern regions and establish new Hue communities far from home. Among the many resettlement programs, one new homeland for Hue people was founded nearly half a century ago: the Huong Lam New Economic Zone (NEZ), now part of Da Lay Commune, Da Huai District, in the southern part of Lam Dong Province…

Following the approval of the project to build a community-based beach tourism model in Hai Duong Commune, now in Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District, by Hue City People's Council (formerly) in July 2023, the infrastructure in this place is gradually being completed, serving the sightseeing and swimming needs of locals and visitors, contributing to enhancing the economic value of the beach and lagoon.

Decision No. 3979/QD-BVHTTDL dated December 10, 2024 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recognized the “Van Cu noodle-making craft” being in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List under the Traditional Handicraft category. This serves as a foundation for building an intangible cultural heritage profile with a national and international vision for Bun Hue (Hue noodles) culinary heritage in the coming time.
