Amid the rapidly changing pace of modern life, in the ethnic minority communities of Hue City, traditional culture continues to be quietly revived and preserved. This is part of an ongoing effort to restore the distinctive cultural values of the Bru–Van Kieu people.

On June 30, Hue Junior School of Culture and Arts awarded diplomas to 73 full-time students of the 3-year program (2023 - 2026 course) and of the 2-year program (2024 - 2026 course).

On the afternoon of June 30, the Hue Brass Band Club held its founding congress for the 2026 -2031 term, marking a significant milestone in consolidating its organizational structure after over 5 years of operation. It also aims to further develop the club as a distinctive cultural institution, contributing to the preservation and promotion of Hue’s brass band musical heritage.

On June 27, at the Ethnic Cultural House of Khe Tre Commune (208 Khe Tre Street), the People's Committee of Khe Tre Commune organized the Khe Tre Highland Market - Second session of 2026, themed “Agricultural Products Market”. The event aims to showcase local products, promote the consumption of agricultural products, and introduce the highland cultural identity to people and visitors.

Along the length of Vietnam’s S-shaped land, the lotus is deeply familiar to every Vietnamese. In Hue, the lotus is not only an economically valuable agricultural crop but also one of the defining cultural symbols of the land.

On June 24, Hue City Women’s Union, in coordination with the city’s Forest Protection Department, the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Small Grants Programme (SGP), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), organized the program “The Cultural Colors of the Bru - Van Kieu People” in Phuc Loc Village, Hung Loc Commune.

After 3 days, Hue Lotus Festival 2026 drew approximately 10,000 tourists coming to visit and experience cultural activities.
