After 3 days, Hue Lotus Festival 2026 drew approximately 10,000 tourists coming to visit and experience cultural activities.

Three bears rescued in Thai Nguyen Province and Hanoi have been successfully transported to Vietnam Bear Rescue Center at Bach Ma National Park. The event also marks a milestone of 300 bears rescued in Vietnam since 2007.

On the afternoon of June 10, over 14,000 candidates in Hue City area arrived at 37 examination venues to complete registration procedures for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam.

On the morning of June 8, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on examination administration procedures for the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination for school administrators and teachers serving as heads and deputy heads of the examination centers, and secretaries from 37 examination venues across the city.

Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, featuring a series of cultural, artistic, and community activities to honor the values of Vietnam’s traditional Ao-dai and reaffirm the brand of “Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai”, will take place from July 3 to 10.

On the morning of June 3rd, Hue City Department of Health and the city Farmers' Association held a signing ceremony for a cooperation program for the 2026 - 2030 period aimed at strengthening communication and advocacy efforts to encourage farmer members to participate in protecting, caring for, and improving community health. ​

On the afternoon of June 3, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Ha Van Tuan had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Hiroshi OMURA, Director of Shizuoka City Environment Bureau, and a delegation from Shizuoka City (Japan), during their visit and working trip in Hue.

On June 3, at Ly Tu Trong Park in Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City Department of Health, in coordination with the City’s Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, the Social Work and Child Protection Center, together with various units, organizations, and benefactors, organized the “Festival for children in special circumstances 2026”. The event aimed to provide meaningful encouragement to hundreds of children in difficult circumstances across the city on the occasion of the Action Month for Children 2026.

On the morning of May 31st, Hue City Youth and Children Center organized the opening ceremony for its 2026 summer activities program and Hue City Children’s Festival.
