On the morning of January 27, at Kim Long Motor Hue automobile manufacturing and assembly industrial park, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held a ceremony on signing a strategic cooperation with BYD Battery, one of the world’s leading companies in batteries and new energy vehicles, while also breaking ground on the BYD battery manufacturing plant.

This is the surviving lychee (hac le chi) tree, believed to have been grown from three lychee fruits bestowed upon the palace by the emperor. The tree casts shade over a corner of the palace, and its trunk is so wide that it would take several people to embrace it.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long recently signed a decision approving the plan to implement the healthcare network development strategy for the 2021- 2030 period, prioritizing the development of six hospitals to meet international standards, including Hue Central Hospital (HCH). With a 130-year tradition, Hue Central Hospital is seizing numerous development opportunities. The 130th Anniversary Ceremony of Hue Central Hospital was solemnly held on December 12.

More than 130 paintings, which are the selected works from the artistic career of painter Nguyen Van Nguyen, were recently exhibited and introduced to the public on the afternoon of March 22nd at Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue (7 Le Loi Street, Hue City).

130 rare Sino-Vietnamese Demotic documents, including conferring ordinance, recognitions, diplomas, and other documents, which have been digitized and reconstructed, have just been exhibited and showcased to the public by Thua Thien Hue General Library on the morning of December 15 at the library space (29A Le Quy Don street, Hue City).

Thai Hoa Palace, the symbol of imperial power of the Nguyen dynasty, set to be built by Emperor Gia Long in 1805, is currently being undergoing a restoration funded by nearly 130 billion Vietnamese dong from the state budget. The comprehensive conservation and restoration project of Thai Hoa Palace relic began in late 2021 and is scheduled for completion in 2025.
