The “Red Journey 2026” event at Military Hospital 268 saw the participation of more than 130 officers, soldiers, and staff members, resulting in the collection of 117 units of blood, including 37 units of 350ml and 80 units of 250ml. These figures not only demonstrate effective organization but also reflect the strong spread of the voluntary blood donation movement within the unit.
Through this program, Military Hospital 268 continues to affirm its core role in providing healthcare for both military personnel and civilians, while spreading messages of compassion and solidarity within the community. The donated blood units not only help save patients’ lives but also reinforce trust and hope in humanitarian values in society.
Voluntary blood donation has long been regarded as a noble humanitarian act. Beyond its moral significance, each donated unit of blood plays a crucial role in emergency care and medical treatment, especially as healthcare systems face increasing demand for blood supplies. For military medical staff, such activities further highlight their sense of responsibility, community spirit, and the noble qualities of soldiers in peacetime.
