Over three days of the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program (June 5 - 7), Chan May - Lang Co Commune welcomed 38,000 visitor arrivals who came to sightsee, relax, and experience the series of activities held as part of the program.

On the morning of June 7, the Chan May - Lang Co running race officially took place at the Nguyen Van Pedestrian Street along An Cu Lagoon (Lap An Lagoon).

On the morning of May 21, the People’s Committee of Chan May - Lang Co Commune held a press conference to announce a series of cultural, tourism, and sports activities taking place within the framework of the “Lang Co - World Beautiful Bay 2026” program, and to share information with the press and media agencies.

On the evening of May 7, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Ha Van Tuan had a meeting with investors at Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone to review the implementation progress of industrial, logistics, seaports, and service infrastructure projects in the area.

On the morning of January 24, the City’s Red Cross Society, in coordination with the local authorities of Chan May - Lang Co Commune and the main sponsor, Heineken Brewery Vietnam Co., Ltd., held the opening ceremony of the “Humanitarian Tet Market - Spring of Binh Ngo 2026” and presented 300 Tet gift packages to disadvantaged residents in the commune.

On the morning of August 31, the People’s Committee of Chan May - Lang Co Commune held the “Chan May - Lang Co Jogging Marathon 2025”, with the participation of over 1,000 runners in all ages coming from various localities.

With coordinated action from authorities, investors, and local communities, Lang Co can fully awaken and emerge as a new engine of growth for the central coastal economic region.
